Resident Policies & Procedures
Rent and Fees
Rent is $150 per week. Beginning April 1, 2026, rent will be $150 per week.
Rent is due every Sunday.
Payments can be made through the One Step app (credit/debit) or with cash to the Housing Manager or Clinical Director on Monday.
New residents receive the first two weeks rent‑free. Rent begins on week 3.
A $100 deposit is required and will be refunded if the resident leaves in good standing and provides two weeks notice.
If the deposit cannot be paid upfront, weeks 3–6 will be $175 per week until the deposit is covered.
Residents must have a $0 balance within 60 days of entering the program.
Residents may not lend, borrow, or exchange money with other residents.
2. Drug and Alcohol Policy
Residents must remain drug and alcohol free including the substances listed in section 3.
All residents will be drug screened upon arrival.
Random drug tests will occur approximately every 10–12 days.
Residents may also be tested if they miss curfew, return from a pass, or if staff request it.
Refusing a drug test or delaying more than two hours will count as a positive result.
A $10 fee may be charged for additional drug tests caused by rule violations.
Cold medicines must be approved by a peer leader or staff member.
3. Prohibited Substances
The following are not allowed: CBD, THC, Delta‑8 products, Kratom, Blue Rise, Red Dawn, and ZaZa (Tianeptine).
Many controlled medications are also not allowed, including medications such as Xanax, Klonopin, Valium, Ambien, Adderall, Ritalin, and Gabapentin.
MAT medications such as Suboxone, Subutex, Methadone, and Sublocade are not permitted.
The only MAT medication accepted is Vivitrol when prescribed by a doctor.
Energy Drinks
Any over the counter medications containing alcohol or containing Pseudoephedrine. (Sudafed, Nexafed, Zephrex-D or any medication with decongestant)
Air dusters (pressurized air cannisters)
Benadryl (can cause a failed alcohol screen)
4. Meetings and Recovery Work
Residents must attend 12‑step meetings.
Residents must attend four meetings per week until they obtain employment.
After getting a job, residents must attend at least three meetings per week.
At least one meeting each week must be a women’s meeting.
No more than two meetings per day will count toward requirements.
Residents must sign in on One Step and on the meeting sheet.
Residents must obtain a sponsor within the first 30 days.
Residents may be required to complete an IOP program if recommended by the Clinical Director.
Residents must attend Sunday night house meetings.
5. Employment
Residents must obtain a full‑time job (30 hours per week) within 30 days of entering the program.
Residents must provide pay stubs or a work schedule if requested.
Third shift jobs are not allowed.
No work shifts past 5:00 PM on Sundays.
If working a second shift, residents must install Life360 and share location by 10:00 PM.
Quitting a job without approval from the Career Coach may result in dismissal.
6. Community Service
Residents must complete five hours of community service each month.
Service must benefit or improve the community.
Community service must be approved by staff before being completed.
7. Relationship Rules
No romantic or sexual relationships during the first 90 days. This includes texting, phone calls, video calls, time spent in person, or any emotional attachment of a romantic nature.
The only exception is if the resident was legally married before entering the program (documentation required).
No relationships between residents are allowed.
Pregnancy must be reported immediately.
Residents may be referred to appropriate support services if needed.
Workplace & High-Risk Relationships
Residents are expected to maintain healthy professional boundaries in the workplace.
Romantic or sexual relationships involving supervisors, employers, sponsors, counselors, parole staff, or others in positions of authority are strongly discouraged and may be reviewed by program leadership if they negatively impact recovery, housing stability, employment, or the integrity of The Launch Pad.
Any relationship that creates ongoing conflict, dishonesty, manipulation, unsafe behavior, or threatens a resident’s recovery may result in corrective action, behavioral contract, restriction, or dismissal at the discretion of program leadership.
8. Prescription medications
If you are currently prescribed medications for mental or physical health, you must take them as prescribed. You may not take yourself off of medication without the guidance of a doctor/ healthcare provider.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, notify your peer leader immediately.
If you feel like you are a danger to yourself or someone else, please call 911 and alert your peer leader.
No sharing of personal medication with other residents
9. House Rules
Keep all outdoor doors locked, and bedroom doors unlocked.
Clean up after yourself and keep shared areas clean.
No candles or wax burners upstairs.
The thermostat must remain at 71 degrees.
No smoking or vaping inside the houses.
Do not leave personal items in showers.
Wrap sanitary products before throwing them away.
Use earbuds for media with audio such as music, videos, etc.
10. House Restriction (First 14 Days)
During the first two weeks, residents may only leave the property for work, job searching, meetings, church, or approved treatment programs.
Residents may receive one approved four‑hour family visit per week during this time.
11. Curfew
New residents have a 7:00 PM curfew.
After the restriction period and once employed, curfew is 10:00 PM M-Th, 11:00 PM on Sat-Sun.
Residents must be up, dressed, and have chores completed by 10:00 AM.
12. Social Media
Do not post information that identifies the location of the Launch Pad.
Do not post pictures with men.
Do not post from locations that serve alcohol.
Do not complain about the program publicly on social media.
Residents may be asked to allow staff to review their phone if necessary.
13. Chores
Residents will be assigned chores by peer leaders.
Residents must participate in a monthly deep clean.
Beds must be made and houses must remain clean.
Daily chores are checked at 10:00 AM.
Residents must submit a photo of completed chores in the GroupMe chat.
Residents must clean under their beds weekly.
14. Visitors
Residents may not enter another resident’s room.
Family visits must be pre‑approved.
Family visitation hours are Sundays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
Visitors must stay downstairs or outside.
No male visitor inside the houses.
15. Passes
First two weeks: one four‑hour pass per week.
After 90 days: one 24‑hour pass per month.
After six months: one 48‑hour pass per month.
After nine months: one 24‑hour pass per week.
Passes may be revoked for rule violations, unpaid rent, or missing meetings.
16. Immediate Removal
Failing a drug or alcohol test.
Possession of drugs, alcohol, or weapons.
Violence, threats, or criminal activity.
Theft or destruction of property.
Providing false information on required forms.
Romantic relationships between residents.
17. Corrective Actions
Residents who break rules may receive a Corrective Action (CA).
First CA: Warning and improvement plan.
Second CA: House restriction until resolved.
Third CA: Dismissal from the program.
Items listed in this document on numbers 1.- 15. Will be considered for Corrective Action. Items listed on number 16. Are non-negotiable and subject to immediate removal.
“Roll-off” of Corrective Actions
3 months after a First corrective action is given, a resident may be eligible for a review with staff to determine whether the behavior has been corrected.
6 months after a Second corrective action is given, a resident may be eligible for a review with staff to determine whether the behavior has been corrected.
Actions may be assigned to a resident by a staff member in order to correct behavior such as writing, classes, fees or extra community service. These completing these actions can make a resident eligible for removal of a Corrective Action.
